Where to stay?

The University of Haifa is located on the outskirts of Haifa, a few kilometers from both the sea shore and the city centre. Buses and cabs are available for reasonable prices (~1.5$ for a bus and 8-12$ for a cab). You should count some 15-20 minutes for a cab ride to the city centre and half an hour for a bus ride. In the morning and afternoon a conference coach will take participants between main hotels and the university campus.

Taking all this into account you should decide whether you would rather stay in town or on campus.

On Campus

A few fully furnished apartments are available on campus. Prices are:
  • Single person in a double room apartment: ~40$ per night
  • Two people in a double room apartment: ~45$ per night
  • Single person in a two en suite single rooms' apartment: ~30$ per night

Apartments are available for senior participants. Priority will be given to invited speakers.

Student dorms (single rooms in 3-6 bedroom apartments) are available on campus as well, for ~20$.

Anyone interested in accommodations on campus should notify us of their intention as soon as possible, because the number of available rooms is limited.

Important notice

all university apartments are now taken. Student dorms are still available.
